I’m glad you're here!
I help people with body difficulties like pain, trauma, injuries, tension, poor posture, and feeling stuck, disconnected, inflexible and uncoordinated (in body and in life). People who work with me commonly experience a more comfortable body, ease of movement, easy good posture, more self-awareness, and access to calm, optimistic states.
Rolfing addresses the accumulation of injury and stress in your body. We seek to restore or discover freedom of movement, and build a healing, supportive relationship to your body and your body's experiences.
I’ve been in practice for 25 years, and have many thousands of hours of experience helping people feel better and move better. You can read words from some of them on my testimonials page.
I primarily do Rolfing® bodywork sessions, making direct, thorough, detailed, hands-on contact with your body. There’s more about this on the Rolfing page. These sessions include movement education, as needed.
I also do sessions focused solely on movement education. teaching movements and exercises to help your body develop optimal movement patterns. These sessions may include touch for guidance, but are not bodywork sessions.
You can schedule by contacting me, or by going to my online schedule.
My initial training was in Rolfing Structural Integration and Rolfing Movement Integration. I've studied other movement systems (more on that in my bio) and am currently an advanced level student of Somatic Experiencing (traumawork).
I've put links to resources I regularly recommend on a resources page.
