MOVEMENT RESOURCES

DYNAMIC NEUROMUSCULAR STABILIZATION (DNS)

https://www.rehabps.com/video-on-line-patiens.html

DNS is series of exercises based on the the progression of movement in infants. It is especially valuable if you need to rediscover your core. DNS teaches a fundamental ability to stabilize the trunk, and to connect all movements to that stabilization. DNS is a rehabilitation system and can be done at any level of health and fitness.

GAGA MOVEMENT LANGUAGE

https://www.gagapeople.com/en/

Gaga comes out of the dance world. It was developed to train and condition professional dancers, and to give them a way to communicate about the expressive qualities of movement. But Gaga is not just for elite dancers--Gaga helps people at any level of health and with any amount of movement experience. There are online classes daily. A few of my favorite teachers: Saar Harari, Anoushka Jago, Kyle Scheurich, Ohad Fishof, Chen Agron. Gaga offers occasional “Moving Through Limitations" classes, although working with limitations is welcome in every Gaga class.

GMB FITNESS

"Don't die without exploring what your body is truly capable of."

People who are fit and active often like the movement variety that GMB offers. It’s a playful and challenging way to develop strength with a wide variety of bodyweight exercises. GMB has ample free content on specific topics. Their paid programs are comprehensive fitness programs, and have different content than the free stuff.

Elements is a good starting point with GMB programs. Elements has fun variations on animal movements (monkey, bear, frog, crab).  https://gmb.io/e/ "Confident, skillful movement starts with the basics. Hip mobility, joint health, and cross-body coordination don’t sound sexy…until you discover just how much of a difference they make in almost any kind of physical activity. Systematically build your body's athletic foundation with Elements."

Here are some free GMB tutorials:

Foot and Ankle exercises https://gmb.io/feet/

UPRIGHT HEALTH

https://www.uprighthealth.com/

If you want a workout to prompt you to do 10 reps of x, 10 of y, 10 of z, etc, you’ll find that here. There are courses organized around a body part, like “Shoulders”, or theme, like “Posture”. The only workout I’ve personally done is Hips, and I found it to be balanced, thorough, and helpful.
